DIY Art Area

Hello My lovlies, Last week I decide to turn our sitting area that we NEVER used into something useful! My husband and I love to change things up in our household all the time. I think, I’ve changed up this sitting area at least 4 times since we have lived here, each time making it better than the last thinking I would actually use the space, never did.

So for New Years I went a little crazy, I dumped every drawer in our house to ORGANIZE!! that is when I decided to turn a space that we never used into something the kids could use everyday!!

Its their art area, a space where they can put all their creative thoughts onto paper.

BTW the calendar is a DIY project that I will share on hear soon. <3

So I bought this curtain hanger from Target for $2

Purchased 6 tin cans for .30 cents each, where all their art supply can be organized in.

The Desks were free, one from Kaizen’s cousin who out grew it and the other from a home owner who didn’t want it any longer.

These book shelves were purchased for my husbands office which he no longer used. They were sitting in the garage for months, so I decided to reuse them for their books.

You can get these shelves from IKEA.

Azella paints everyday! It was the best decision to transform this space to a creative space for the kids.

Kaizen practicing his letters. He does his homework here everyday!

Mommy kisses!
